Jessie Leigh to rock Sugar Mountain Amphitheater

Portland country-rocker Jessie Leigh will return Saturday to Sugar Mountain Amphitheater — aka the outdoor stage on Allen Peek’s property in Terrebonne where he has hosted house shows since 2011. Leigh, who played Sugar Mountain last year and in 2016, won the Ponderosa Battle of the Bands in Portland in 2015 and has continued to tour with her band since, releasing a self-titled minialbum in 2016. Her latest single, “Irresistible,” a precursor to an EP of the same name, combines Southern rock grit, country twang and Pacific Northwest attitude in a hard-rocking yet dance-able mix.
