True triple threats are rare in just about any industry, but Maryland’s Vanessa Collier fits that description as a blues alto saxophonist, songwriter and singer. (She also plays guitar, so quadruple threat at least.) A 2013 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Collier started her career in earnest shortly after with her 2014 debut album “Heart Soul & Saxophone,” which introduced her mix of old-school soul, nimble blues jams and funk freakouts. Her latest album, 2018’s “Honey Up,” refined those influences further and earned her the title of Best Instrumentalist — Horn at this year’s Blues Music Awards. Collier and her band will make their Volcanic Theatre Pub debut Tuesday.

Vanessa Collier: 9 p.m. Tuesday; $12 plus fees in advance, $15 at the door; Volcanic Theatre Pub, 70 SW Century Drive, Bend; volcanictheatre.com or 541-323-1881.
