The Bend North Little League 10-year-old All-Stars will play in the division’s state baseball tournament beginning July 6 in Clackamas.

Bend North qualified for state by defeating Crook County 9-1 last Thursday for the District 5 championship.

Going 4-0 at the district tournament in Madras, Bend North scored 42 runs on 39 hits and had a team batting average of .424 for the tournament. The pitching staff of Bennett Wyatt, Ryder Carpenter, Brennan Colt, Cole Morford and Evan Guadalupe allowed only one earned run.

The team, coached by Caleb Colt, also includes All-Stars Nash Webster, Kelton Davis, Cooper Hilts, E.J. Ross, Austin Imhoff, Henry Gruetzmacher, Gianni Stark and Kai Dholakia.
