Who: Contemporary painter Langford Barksdale’s work is on display at North Soles Footwear through August. Nashville native Barksdale moved to Central Oregon from Aspen, Colorado, in 2016 switching the focus of her work to that which is influenced by the nature of the Pacific Northwest. She earned a BFA in painting from the University of Georgia in Athens and studied art and theology at L’Abri in Switzerland. Her work hangs in exhibitions across the globe.
