Sisters Folk Festival’s free summer concerts return

Ecuadorian-Colombian folk group Rio Mira will kick off the Sisters Folk Festival organization’s Free Summer Concert Series in Fir Street Park on July 18.

The annual series will continue Aug. 1 with modern bluegrass band Town Mountain and conclude Aug. 21 with California folk-pop duo Freddy & Francine. All shows start at 6:30 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and low-back chairs, a news release announcing the series said.
