The median sales price of Bend area homes was $445,000 in June, slightly below the median posted for the same month last year, according to the Beacon Report from Beacon Appraisal Group.

In June 2018, the median price was $449,000. Last month’s median was based on 236 single-family homes sold. The sales volume was similar to May but 9.6% below June 2018, when 261 homes were sold.

Bend homes sold in June spent an average of 53 days on the market — the shortest turnaround time in at least four years. Last year the average time spent on the market was 64 days.

In Redmond, the median sales price was $330,000, up 10.7% from $298,000 in June 2018.

The Redmond area median was based on 107 transactions, compared to 97 sales last year. Redmond homes spent an average 64 days on the market, down from 70 days in June 2018.
