General contractor R&H Construction plans to move into a new headquarters building for its Central Oregon operation in October.
The building is under construction at 61426 American Lane, Vice President Gary North said. When complete, R&H will move its office staff out of the Moda building on SW Bond Street. R&H built the Moda office building, which was completed in 2007.
The company has grown from 13 Central Oregon employees to 40 since 2015, North said. Revenue growth has averaged 30% per year in that same period, he said.
“We’re increasing the size of our shop and office to accommodate the growth,” North said. “We signed a 10-year lease, so we’ll be there a while.”
Based in Portland, R&H’s first Central Oregon project was building a house in Sunriver’s Crosswater community for a client in Portland, North said. “We sent a crew over here 20 years ago and never left.”
R&H will hold its annual Endless Summer Nights fundraiser, benefiting the Construction Industry Workforce Collaborative, at 3 p.m., Sept. 7 in the parking lot of the Moda building, 360 SW Bond St.
