Land trust seeks applicants for affordable housing

Kor Community Land Trust will hold the final information session for potential applicants to its affordable housing development on Aug. 29.

The session is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the East Bend Public Library. At least one person from each household must attend an information session before applying.

The land trust recently broke ground on five single-family homes on Bend’s east side. The two-bedroom cottages will be available to people earning 40% to 120% of the area median income. The application deadline is Sept. 23. The selection process is by lottery, and winners will be notified by Sept. 27.
