Anniversary: Wallace and Karen Corwin

Wallace and Karen Corwin, of Bend, celebrated their 50th anniversary with their family.

The couple were married Oct. 3, 1969, in Reno, Nevada. They have two children, Kasey (and Melanie Majors) and Lindsy Nelson, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Corwin is a graduate of Redmond High School and served in Vietnam. He is a corporate manager at Jeld-Wen. He is a master wood worker and has volunteered as the board president of East Cascade Works. Mrs. Corwin graduated from Bend High School and is a retired nurse who has spent years volunteering her skills around town.

They both enjoy attending their grandchildren’s soccer and basketball games.

They have lived in Central Oregon most of their lives and have lived in the same house since the early 1980s.
