Southern rapper/hick-hop star Yelawolf, who was scheduled to play the Midtown Ballroom in October 2017 before canceling last-minute (due to “unforeseen circumstances,” per the official explanation from the promoter at the time), will finally visit the venue Friday. This time around he will support his upcoming sixth studio album, “Ghetto Cowboy,” which will be his second release this year following “Trunk Muzik III.” Two singles released so far, the laid-back groover “Opie Taylor” and the heavier-hitting “Unnatural Born Killers,” continue the street-smart mix of hip-hop, country and rock that Yelawolf has been perfecting since his 2015 breakout album, “Love Story.” Texas group The Outfit, TX; and underground rappers Wild the Coyote and Badd Wolf will open the show.

Yelawolf, with The Outfit, TX; Wild the Coyote, Badd Wolf: 8:30 p.m. Friday, doors open at 7:30 p.m.; $25 plus fees in advance; Midtown Ballroom, 51 NW Greenwood Ave., Bend; midtownbend.com or 541-408-4329.
