Dang’s Vietnamese
()
Food: Goi Ga (chicken salad) is one of my go-to choices — thinly sliced cabbage, celery, red pepper and mint leaves topped with chicken thigh strips dressed with house fish sauce. This salad ($11.95) has it all: It’s healthy, flavorful and satisfying. It’s a meal, but you’ll find it listed as an appetizer. The salad can instead be served with beef ($13.95), which my friend ordered. She liked it except some of the beef — thinly sliced New York steak — was grisly. If salad is not what you’re craving, the restaurant’s menu offers a large variety of options. The pho (any variety) is my favorite in town.
Service: Food arrives fast, short wait times. The staff is pleasant and efficient.
Atmosphere: Clean and simple, it feels like a cross between a diner and nicer restaurant.
