Non Profit Tunes returns to The Commons

The next Non Profit Tunes benefit, at The Commons on Thursday, promises to be a rocking affair. The bill features three longtime local songwriters and bandleaders, including roots-rocker Doc Ryan of the Wychus Creek Band; Mark Ransom of jam band The Mostest and Bend Roots Revival fame, and soulful singer Tara Snow of the puntacularly named The Flakes. As usual, these musicians will perform “in the round,” trading songs and stories.

Proceeds from tips will go to Oregon Wild, which since 1974 has “worked to inform and involve the public in the important conservation issues facing our state,” according to the website.
