Meadow Lakes golf pro Zach Lampert receives OGA award

Zach Lampert, head golf professional/facility manager at Meadow Lakes Golf Course in Prineville, has been recognized as club executive of the year by the Oregon Golf Association. According to an OGA release announcing the honor, the award “recognizes exceptional leadership by a General Manager, Clubhouse Manager, Owner/Operator, PGA Professional or other similar position of a facility with an OGA member club.” The head pro at Meadow Lakes since 2012, Lampert for the past 10 years has also been the boys golf coach at his high school alma mater, Crook County High in Prineville. Lampert was presented the OGA award at the association’s annual awards banquet, held Oct. 21 at Royal Oaks Golf Club in Vancouver, Washington.
