Could In-N-Out be coming to a Portland suburb?

- In-N-Out Burger opened its first location within a short drive of Portland in December 2019.
In-N-Out wants to put a new location across the street from Bridgeport Village in Tualatin, but not everyone is thrilled about the prospect.
Tualatin Life reported Monday that Tualatin Mayor Frank Bubenik said the next Oregon location of the chain, which is creeping northward, could be the former home of a Village Inn. The location would be the fourth In-N-Out in the state.
Bubenik did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
On Thursday, residents of the area will get a chance to weigh in on the future of the fast-food juggernaut. A Facebook post announcing the virtual meeting has already garnered nearly 300 comments.
While many are excited about the prospect of an In-N-Out closer to Portland, others are concerned about what it would do to traffic in the area.
In-N-Out opened a third Oregon location in Keizer in December, bringing the popular burgers, fries and shakes within 45 minutes of Portland.
