EUGENE — The transfer portal ushered out four Oregon women’s basketball players this offseason, but late Tuesday it delivered a new addition to the Ducks.

Taylor Hosendove, who led Georgia State with 12.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in 24 games with 23 starts last season, signed with Oregon.

The 6-foot-1 guard shot 46.9% from the field, including 34.5% from three, and had 23 blocks and 33 steals for the Panthers last season.

“Taylor is a good addition to our program,” Oregon coach Kelly Graves said in a statement. “She is a versatile player who can play both inside and out and do a little bit of everything for us. I really love the toughness that she will bring to our team. We’re excited to get her to Eugene and get to work.”

A Los Angeles native, Hosendove also led Georgia State during the 2019-20 season with 11.4 points and 8.9 rebounds in 24 starts.

A fourth-year junior, Hosendove has two years of eligibility remaining. However, she began her career at Clemson, and having already transferred it’s not clear whether she’ll be eligible to play this fall as the NCAA’s newly passed one-time transfer rule does not apply to players who already transferred. The NCAA Division I Council is expected to address the criteria for two-time transfers to be eligible next fall during a meeting next week.
