Just like that, another season of Munch & Music has come and gone. The final concert of the Munch season will feature local party-rock ‘n’ soul band Precious Byrd, whose mix of beloved covers and danceable originals are perfect for the intermittently engaged crowd that gathers for these free shows in Drake Park.

Opening the evening will be local country crooners the Shining Dimes, who are much better than my band, Grimy Nickel Stuck to the Minivan Floor. Munch & Music is one of the quintessential summer-in-Bend experiences, and here’s your last chance of the year to, um, experience it.
