Redmond hosts Veterans Day parade

The Redmond Veterans Day Parade will be Nov. 11.
The parade will start at 11 a.m. honoring the World War I Armistice that was signed at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

The parade will start at Sixth Street and Dogwood Avenue and proceed down Sixth Street. The sign-in table to obtain a placement number will be on the northeast corner of Sixth and Dogwood starting at 9 a.m. Veterans groups, youth groups and any business that would like to honor veterans should consider parade entry.
The Redmond V.F.W. will have a float for elderly veterans to ride on. There will be a traditional chili feed after the parade for all veterans and their families.
