Growler Guys, the franchise business with 12 locations, including two in Bend, has recently expanded to Klamath Falls.

The corporate affiliate, which owns a location in Ashland is the same group of owners that purchased the former Reames Golf Course & Country Club in Klamath Falls. The developers plan to operate the main clubhouse as a Growler Guys restaurant location, however, other sections of the building are being evaluated for additional amenities and enterprises.

The Klamath location should open in April, said Casey Wise, Growler Guys director of operations. Wise said the owners are not yet ready to release any information on what they plan to do with the rest of the 200-plus acre property.

The company has growler fill stations in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Wisconsin and Nevada. The two locations in Bend, on the east and west sides, are owned by two unrelated franchisees. The Bend east-side location was the first location for the company, Wise said.
