Late last year, we received an email from a reader suggesting a review of Saffron Grill, a Middle-Eastern restaurant that opened in Redmond in July.

Last week, I finally had a chance to visit.

The closing of Joolz has left Central Oregon with few options for Mediterranean food in a sit-down setting, which made my experience at Saffron Grill especially refreshing. But perhaps most refreshing of all was the same reader’s response once the review was published.
