Summit Bank recently announced its acquisition of a building in downtown Redmond.

The bank expects the building at 538 SW Highland Ave. to open in the fall after it has been renovated.

Summit Bank said the new location will enable it to better serve its clients in the Redmond area. It’s also part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in Central Oregon.

Headquartered in Eugene, Summit Bank was established in February 2004, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. 

Summit Bank has offices in Bend, downtown Portland and Hillsboro, according to its website.
