Editor’s note: More than 100 Ibex employees were laid off Friday and the company closed its offices in Bend. Last week, Ibex told The Bulletin that workers were permitted to work remotely and there were “no significant changes” to employment. The information provided by the company was false, according to multiple employees who came to The Bulletin to report their side of the situation.
The Bulletin is following this developing story.

After more than two decades at 501 Hill St. in Bend, Ibex has left the building.
Ibex Global, which at times employed more than 500 people at its Upper Old Mill facility, exited its offices on Friday for the last time.
Ibex provides call center customer support services for several brand names that it declined to identify. The company occupied the location at SW Hill Street since 2000.
