Donors raised over $95,000 for Oregon State University-Cascades’ programs and scholarships on OSU Dam Proud Day.

Over 180 members of the OSU-Cascades faculty, staff, students, families, alumni and the community contributed on the university’s fourth annual day of giving Wednesday.

Led by the Oregon State University Foundation, Dam Proud Day included virtual and in-person events throughout Corvallis, Portland, and Bend. OSU raised over $2.1 million overall.

Donations at OSU-Cascades focused on student scholarships, the career development program Cascades Edge, which launches this fall, and a master’s of counseling program’s free clinic, among other programs.

The day also featured challenge funds for the university so donors would feel encouraged. After supporters raised $50,000 for the Student Emergency Fund, an anonymous staff member donated $2,500.

Dam Proud Day began in 2019. Since then, donors have given over $5 million to OSU.
