The annual Central Oregon BBQ, Brews & Whiskey Festival returns to the Deschutes County Fairgrounds Friday and Saturday.

Deschutes County Fairgrounds is set to come alive with the sizzling aromas of delicious barbecue, the refreshing taste of craft brews and the smoothness of fine whiskey as the annual Central Oregon BBQ, Brews & Whiskey Festival makes its return.

This two-day event, taking place this Friday and Saturday, is the perfect way to kick off the summer season in style. The festival boasts the largest Oregon barbecue competition east of the Cascades, attracting talented pitmasters from far and wide. Visitors can indulge in mouthwatering bites, sample a variety of cold beers and savor the rich flavors of whiskey.

The event promises a strong lineup of live music, a Blazin’ Spicy Wing Competition, a discussion and Q&A with whiskey aficionado Stuart Ramsay, a cornhole tournament and much more.

With a $15 entry ticket, festivalgoers gain access to the festival both days, allowing ample time to explore the marketplace featuring local businesses and enjoy the barbecue, brews, and spirits. Additionally, each person of legal drinking age will receive a ticket for a sample at the Crater Lake Spirits Tent.

Presale tickets are available for $15 at bendticket.com, and tickets purchased at the gate are $18. It is an additional $15 online for those wanting to participate in the Bite Till You Drop Competition, where you’ll get to sample up to 7 levels of spiced wings hosted by Wonderland Chicken Co.
