BMX star Pat Casey dies in motocross crash

Pat Casey, 29, lost control of his motocross bike and died Tuesday afternoon in Romona, California.

A Southern California native who leaves behind a wife and two young children, Casey won a 2021 X Games gold medal in an event held at his own “Dreamyard” course in Riverside, California. His accomplishments included two X Games medals and four top-five finishes between 2012 and 2014.

A California Highway patrol officer told reporters that Casey’s motorcycle appeared to have fallen on him after he missed a landing from a jump.

LPGA Tour is left out of LIV Golf deal

LIV Golf Commissioner Greg Norman suggested two months ago the Saudi-backed would consider adding a women’s tour.

The PGA Tour partnership with Saudi Arabia’s enormous wealth fund instead essentially left out the LPGA in the foreseeable future of any chance of at least considering the idea to defect and join a rival league.
