William and Joyce Scott

William (Bill) and Joyce Scott of Bend will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on August 2.

The couple were married in 1958 in Salem, Oregon.

Mr. Scott was a Bend elementary school teacher, principal and assistant superintendent during his career. He retired in July of 1994. Mrs. Scott was a Bend Elementary school secretary until July 1997.

The Scott’s are the proud parents of two children and three grandchildren — Terry & Anne Scott, of Gainesville, Florida and Tom Scott of Bend, Oregon.

The couple have lived in Central Oregon for 55 years.
