In this July 2022 photo, a wall of bottled water is on hand at the Shepherd’s House Ministries Lighthouse Navigation Center in Bend.

Shepherd’s House Ministries, a local nonprofit that offers a slew of homelessness services, is in need of bottled water.

“With the consistent weather and concerns over air quality across Central Oregon, many homeless will face dehydration and potentially dangerous health challenges because of the hot weather,” a Sunday news release from the nonprofit said.

Shepherd’s House is requesting donations of pallets or cases of bottled water, but monetary donations are always an option at shepherdshouseministries.org/donate/.

Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 1854 NE Division St. in Bend.
