Shepherd’s House Ministry seeks holiday donations

Shepherd’s House Ministries

has reached out to area residents for food donations in advance of its annual Thanksgiving meal at a Bend shelter on Wednesday.

The meal will be served from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lighthouse Navigation Center, 275 NE Second St., Bend.

The following are requested:

• Turkeys

• Fresh yams

• Fresh green beans

• Russet potatoes

• Onions, carrots, celery

• Boxed stuffing

• Cream of mushroom soup

• Crispy onions

• Eggs

• Hawaiian rolls

• Brown sugar

• Butter

• Mixed greens (salad mix)

• Pumpkin and apple pies

• Whipped cream

Donations can be dropped off at Shepherd’s House Ministries, at 1854 NE Division St.

The nonprofit is also still accepting winter coats and gear donations. For those who cannot donate supplies but still wish to contribute, Shepherd’s House Ministries accepts monetary donations, which can be made at shministries.org.
