Oregon men’s basketball centers N’Faly Dante (knee), Nate Bittle (wrist) have surgery

Oregon’s top centers has surgery this week and each will be out for several weeks.
Ducks center Nate Bittle (wrist) and N’Faly Dante (knee) underwent successful surgeries this week, according to UO, and will be reevaluated in eight weeks and four weeks, respectively.
Bittle injured his left wrist during the first half of Oregon’s win over Tennessee State. The 7-foot junior is averaging 13 points, 6 rebounds and 1.7 blocks this season and 7.3 points and 5.1 rebounds last season.
Dante had 16 points and 21 rebounds in the season-opening win over Georgia in Las Vegas but was dealing with knee pain prior to the season. An all-Pac-12 honoree last season, Dante averaged 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds last season, which he ended sidelined due to injury.
Oregon is playing in the Emerald Coast Classic in Niceville, Florida.
