Left turns from Third Street to Wilson Avenue halted during construction work

Beginning Friday, left turns onto Wilson Avenue from Third Street in Bend for motorists traveling south won’t be possible due to work on the Wilson Avenue Corridor Project.

The left-turn option will temporarily halt because of a technical issue related to the traffic signal at the intersection, according to a statement by the city of Bend.

As an alternative, motorists can head south to Reed Market Road, then east on Reed Market and then north on Ninth Street.

The left-turn closure and detour will remain in place until at least June.

More information about the Wilson Avenue Corridor Project is available on the city’s webpage: bendoregon.gov/wilson.
