The Crook County School District has started searching for a new superintendent, who would start in July 2024.
The school board has opened a community survey to gain feedback that will help guide the selection process. The survey is open to families, district staff and the community.
Robert Hess of Breakthrough Consulting is helping the board launch a national search and guide the process.
The survey will remain open until Jan. 5, and is available on the district’s website. The results will be posted online.
Duane Yecha, the district’s interim superintendent, agreed to serve until June 2024.
Applications for superintendent will close Jan. 20.
