John Holmes Morrison

1941 – 2023

On December 4, 2023, John Holmes Morrison died at the age of 82 from complications of Alzheimer’s. Holmes moved to Bend in 2017.

Holmes was born in New York, NY to Dudley Butler Morrison and Ina Holmes Morrison. He was raised in Charleston, WV by his uncle and aunt, John Cooper Morrison and Margaret Simms Morrison. Holmes had a career in banking.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Bond Morrison, his two children, John Holmes Morrison Jr. and Markee Morrison Moon, his brothers Dudley Butler Morrison and John Cooper Morrison, and grandchildren, Isadora Beatrice Moon and Samuel Ilo Moon.
