Oregon State lost another potential offensive starter for 2024 when junior receiver Silas Bolden announced Monday he’s going into the transfer portal.
The 5-foot-8 Bolden, who played in the first half of Friday’s Sun Bowl before pulling out with a hamstring injury, entered the portal one day before Tuesday’s deadline.
The brother of former Beaver receiving standout Victor Bolden, Bolden played four years and 36 games at Oregon State. Among those on offense, Bolden joins OSU tight end Jack Velling, and quarterbacks DJ Uiagalelei and Aidan Chiles in the portal. Junior receiver Anthony Chiles and right tackle Taliese Fuaga have announced that they’re leaving early to enter the 2024 NFL draft.
