Police are trying to find Tamera Torkelson, a La Pine woman who has been missing since Wednesday. 

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a La Pine woman who has been missing since Wednesday.

Tamera Torkelson, 35, left her home without her phone or identification around 10 p.m. Wednesday, a news release from Sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Wall said.

Police do not know where Torkelson was going but said she has friends in La Pine.

Torkelson was last seen wearing a black-and-white sweater, leggings and “slippers or sandals,” Wall said. She is 5-feet 6-inches tall, 180 pounds, with black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

The sheriff’s office asks that anyone who has seen Torkelson to call the county’s nonemergency dispatch line and reference case number 24-4421.
