3 arrested in Madras robbery

Madras Police Officers arrested three suspects in an armed robbery and shooting Wednesday at the City Pump gas station at 178 Southwest 4th St. in Madras, according to a news release Saturday from authorities.

At around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a 911 call from the gas station manager who said shots were fired. Officers were dispatched and arrived five minutes later.

Dondi Leon Foster Sr., 47, and Kristan Lee Smith, 25, were arrested at the scene after questioning, Madras Police said. Smith was charged with robbery and theft, and Foster was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a firearm.

Police also said Foster was involved in a shooting on Jan. 22 that injured one person and charged him with assault.

Later Wednesday, police also arrested Hattie Agnes Hart, 38, in connection to the City Pump robbery.
