Rebecca Robinson appointed senior adviser for strategic initiatives at OSU-Cascades

Rebecca Robinson will join Oregon State University-Cascades in April as senior adviser for strategic initiatives, the university announced. She has also been appointed associate vice president for the economic development and industry relations office at OSU. She will start April 15.
Robinson recently served as president and CEO of K-State Innovation Partners, which oversaw the innovation ecosystem at Kansas State University. She also served as director of economic development at Kansas State.
Robinson will join OSU’s new Division of Research and Innovation, which was created to support the execution of university’s strategic plan.
The innovation district at OSU-Cascades, which will be built out over the next decade, is an important consideration for the economic development and industry relations office.
Robinson earned her MBA from Kansas State and is a doctoral candidate in leadership communications at the same university.
Robinson will be based in Bend, though she will work in Corvallis, Salem and Portland as well.
