Here is a bit of information for those considering making the long and dangerous journey to slip across the borders and gain access to America. You should pause and be careful of what you choose. America is not necessarily the land you’re parents or grandparents spoke of in years gone past.

It is not always that sweet, safe and beautiful place with opportunity for riches for all. Over the years the streets of many major cities have become lined with sick and dying victims of drugs more of which may actually accompany you across the border. Sidewalks of those streets may include many mentally ill who are left to function on their own as America seems to lack facilities and desire to care for them. Some can and do attack and kill anywhere in America at any time. Many of those who came before you are lying on those same streets with the sickness and danger as there is no place for them to go. Thugs seem to be allowed to ravage local businesses with impunity; police may be beaten and kicked with the offenders laughing and being allowed to run loose. That person who helped you and accompanied you across the border might just be the thug that takes your money or tries to rape/beat you because there is no one able to ensure those folks helping you or crossing with you are good people.

You may not find work in America, as your nationality or race may not meet the criteria the government tries to set or because of some owner’s individual feelings. The size of America’s military whose duty is to protect Americans and keep you safe is shrinking because men and women who volunteer for this duty are becoming scarce. Their lives have become in jeopardy throughout the world as they are killed by Americas enemies even while asleep.

You might say that when you are in America you will fight against these problems, but you should know the size of that task. That person appointed to keep the American homeland secure seems to feel no responsibility for that task and enjoys the benefits of his rank while assuring America that everything is good. Many of the officials elected to govern the cities revel in their power and status and pledge allegiance to those who lavish them with praise or might promote them to higher positions rather than care about their cities.

The one who directs the military, who are the protectors of America, apparently does not abide by the principles of his assignment such as to be truthful and he hides his inabilities. The President of America apparently suffers from debilitating aging and seems to advise the world constantly that the avoidance of making America’s enemy’s mad is of more importance than protecting its citizens from attack or even invasion at the borders. Support of America from other countries is in jeopardy as they are concerned that the country that says it’s the leader of the free world is suffering so badly.

The outlook for the America to which you hope to belong may not be much better. The upcoming selection of the leader of America may actually result in a continuation or even an increase in the problems facing life in America. There is the possibility of either continuing with what seems to be the currently depreciating governing directions or with a new leader whose governing principles may be driven by self grandeur and a debilitating trait of vengeance on those who defy him thus resulting in a similar deteriorating America.

So as you consider whether or not to undertake the journey to America, you might wish to consider that you might be better off where you are and that the not so subtle invite to come to America might contain an empty promise.
