Central Oregon has events for lovebirds all week leading up to Valentine’s Day.

Local comedians will perform sketch and stand-up comedy at The Capitol. Wanderlust Tours will have a romantic snowshoe under the stars. Take the group chat out to Bend Wine Bar for a Galentine’s sip and shop. Catch a love story at Silver Moon Brewing with Bend Burlesque. Enjoy Valentine’s Day dinner at Flights Wine Bar or General Duffy’s Annex. Or be swooned by the Aviara Trio as it performs classical love tunes at Tower Theatre.

Heart on For Laughter

Start the week of love with a Heart on For Laughter comedy show at The Capitol. Bits N Skits Productions is putting on the sketch and stand-up comedy show Friday and Saturday. Comedians Christine Keefer and Whitney Russell are producing the show with a cast of other local comedians.

There will be a pre-show happy hour with discounts on select drinks and specialty cocktails. A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to nonprofit Children’s Heart Fund of Central Oregon.

Valentine’s weekend romance on snow

Snowshoe into the Cascades with your loved one and enjoy a romantic evening under the beautiful Central Oregon night sky with Wanderlust Tours. Naturalist guides will point out planets, stars and constellations while couples huddle around the bonfire at the hand-carved amphitheater out in the Deschutes National Forest. Desserts and hot cocoa with hazelnut espresso vodka will be provided.

Galentine’s Sip and Shop

Grab some friends and make an evening of supporting local women artisans, makers and small business owners.

The Bend Wine Bar & Winery Tasting Room will have vendors selling ceramics, jewelry, books, candles, perfume, pet products and other gifts. There will also be a special chocolate and wine paired flight available.

Hookups & Heartbreaks

Bend Burlesque will perform a real love story in the Webfoot Garage at Silver Moon Brewing. Performers will act out a non-Hallmark love story with hookups and heartbreaks. This show is for both couples and the loveless, or anti-Valentine’s.

‘Under the Sea’ Valentine’s Dinner

Be where the people are at Flights Wine Bar’s “Little Mermaid”-themed dinner. The three-course meal for two will have a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. The bar will have half–bottle wine specials, and the full glass and bottle list will be available.

Valentine’s Day Jazz Dinner

Take your date out to Redmond for steaks and scallops at General Duffy’s Annex. The jazz dinner will feature music from Positive Side Jazz Quartet and a four-course meal.

The menu includes New York strip steak, whiskey seared scallops, cinnamon cornbread muffins and chocolate cake with creamy gelato. But tickets are going fast. As of Feb. 5, 20 tickets out of 100 were left. Better get on it.

High Desert Chamber Music

High Desert Chamber Music will continue its concert series with a love-themed evening on Valentine’s Day. The Aviara Trio is back by popular demand to perform a night of music by Ennio Morricone, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Astor Piazzolla and other composers. Attendees will receive a complimentary rose and custom treat from Goody’s Chocolates.
