Oregon football cornerback Rodrick Pleasant improves time, finishes 4th in 60 meter dash at Don Kirby Indoor Invitational (e-ed)

Oregon’s Rodrick Pleasant, a cornerback on the football team, shaved nearly a tenth of a second off his time in the 60-meter dash from his first collegiate meet to his second.
Pleasant finished fourth (6.69 seconds) in the men’s 60-meter invitational final at the Don Kirby Elite Indoor Invitational at New Mexico on Saturday.
The freshman was the final qualifier for the final with a prelim time of 6.761 seconds. He improved his time in the final and edged out fellow Duck PJ Ize-Iyamu Jr. for fourth. Cal’s David Foster won the men’s 60 meters in 6.54 seconds.
