Humane Society of Central Oregon announces new executive director

- Amber Kostoff is the new executive director of the Humane Society of Central Oregon.
The Humane Society of Central Oregon has announced Amber Kostoff is its new executive director.
Kostoff brings over a decade of leadership experience in animal welfare to the organization, according to a news release from the Bend-based animal shelter.
In her new role, she will oversee the humane society’s operations, including adoption programs, community outreach, animal care, strategic planning and fundraising.
She was previously the executive director of the MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter in McCall, Idaho, and has experience in veterinary practices and thrift store operations.
Kostoff received a bachelor of arts in political science from Utah State University and her master of science degree in natural resources from the University of Idaho. She is also a certified animal welfare administrator.
