James “Jim” Arlo Olson

March 22, 1947 – January 25, 2024

Jim passed away from natural causes at the age 76.

Jim was born in Sioux City, IA and grew up in sunny Southern California. He married and moved his young family to Bend in 1972. Jim started his Central Oregon career as a ready mix driver working his way up to owner of Bend Ready Mix until 2000.

Jim’s defining qualities were his generosity and charm, along with his quick wit and sarcastic one liners. He was a dedicated sports fan with a passion for playing golf and basketball.

Jim is survived by his five children, six grandchildren and five siblings. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of those who cherished him.
