The Crook County School District has scheduled a a community forum from 4 to 5:30 p.m. March 4 in the Barnes Butte Elementary School gym for the community to meet the three finalists for superintendent.

Each finalist will give a presentation, and the evening will end with a meet-and-greet event where community members will be allowed to ask questions and learn more about each finalist’s vision.

The candidates include Robert Waite, Melissa Skinner and Casey Hallgarth. Waite is the current superintendent of Shoshone School District in Idaho. Skinner is the executive director of leadership at Ector County Independent School District in Texas. Hallgarth is the superintendent of the Prairie City School District.
