Dolly Parton does a lot of great things, but one thing she doesn’t do anymore is tour. And neither, obviously, do Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, who passed away in 1963 and 2022, respectively.

So if you want to hear the music of these three icons of country performed live, you should strongly consider hitting the Tower Theatre Sunday night for “Trailblazing Women of Country: Tribute to Patsy, Loretta, and Dolly.” This 43-date tour features the terrific Miko Marks and Kristina Train singing the songs of Cline, Lynn and Parton, backed by an all-female band.

“To go on tour with Trailblazing Women of Country is a childhood reimagined,” Marks is quoted on the tour’s website. “I used to sit at my grandmother’s house while she played records and I remember being drawn to these three women for their unique strengths. The life stories and their music. They are inspirations and I’m honored to pay tribute to these icons of music.”

The set list is subject to change, of course, but plans include Cline’s classic “Crazy” and “Walkin’ After Midnight,” Lynn’s “You’re Looking at Country,” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” and Parton hits like “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors” and “I Will Always Love You.” Marks and Train can both really sing, so expect each of those songs — and the others played throughout the night — to be treated with the care and respect they deserve.

Trailblazing Women of Country: 7:30 p.m. Sunday, doors open 6:30 p.m., $52-$76, Tower Theatre, 835 NW Wall Street, Bend, towertheatre.org.
