The PGA Tour’s Florida Swing peaks this week with the Players Championship—don’t call it the “fifth major” anymore, just the Tour’s best stop in the embattled pro game.

A total of 144 of the Tour’s best will take on TPC Sawgrass, one of the most recognizable courses in the world thanks to the island par-3 17th hole.

Expect to see plenty of classic highlights from previous years at 17, especially with this being the 50th playing of the Players. Not all 50 have been at TPC Sawgrass (consider yourself a true golf trivia buff if you know the first two editions were at Atlanta Country Club and Colonial Country Club), but the course has long been synonymous with the event.

Tiger Woods’s “Better Than Most” putt is a guaranteed replay on NBC, though Woods won’t be playing this week. But a number of other past champions will tee it up, led by defending champion and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Webb Simpson, Si-Woo Kim, Rickie Fowler and Matt Kuchar are other past champs in the field.

The Players has the Tour’s largest purse at $25 million, with $4.5 million for the winner. The winner also receives a five-year Tour exemption as well as exemptions into all the majors for the next three years.
