Charley Crockett, Matt Rife, Slash and 311 are coming to Bend

Tickets will be released for online presale at 10 a.m. Thursday for four shows at Bend’s Hayden Homes Amphitheater. Headliners include Charley Crockett June on 29, comedian Matt Rife on June 22, rock guitarist Slash on July 10 and rock band 311 on Aug. 29, the venue announced Tuesday.

Crockett has a singular sound, influenced by genres of country, blues, soul and American Roots music. The “$10 Cowboy Tour” is named after his forthcoming album, which will be released on April 26. It was written over a two-month period as Crockett crisscrossed the U.S. on the back of a tour bus, according to a press release.

“This material is written at truck stops, it’s written at casinos, it’s written in the alleys behind the venues, it’s written in my truck parked up on South Congress in Austin,” Crockett said. “A ramblin’ man like me, a genuine transient, is in a pretty damn good position to have something to say about America.”

Crockett’s last full-length album, “The Man From Waco” was named #2 best country album of the year by Rolling Stone in 2022.

Matt Rife: ProbleMATTic World Tour

Rife is best known for his self-produced specials, “Only Fans” and “Matthew Steven Rife” on YouTube. According to a press release, he has garnered over 13 million followers on TikTok and more than 2 billion views globally.

Rife grew up in a small town in Ohio, started performing at the age of 15 and made his television debut on MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out.”

Slash

Grammy-winning Slash, who has played in Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver, has been making music with solo band Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators for over a decade.

His sixth studio album, “Orgy of The Damned,” pays homage to the blues.

“This album is still in my style, and it still has its own sort of aggression to it because that’s the way I play. But at the same time, it has a simple, stripped-down sound that is transparent and stark,” Slash said in a press release.

Slash’s S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival tour will be joined by special guests Warren Haynes, Samantha Fish and Eric Gales.
