Two former Oregon Ducks’ sports stars got married over the weekend.

WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu and NFL player Hroniss Grasu officially tied the knot in Laguna Beach, California during the weekend. Ionescu is a star guard with the New York Liberty and Grasu is a center for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Dallas Wings forward and former Oregon Ducks’ star Satou Sabally, former NBA star Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, were among the guests who attended the ceremony.

Sabally posted photos of the wedding on her Instagram page.

Bryant also posted a photo of the wedding on social media. She wrote “Congratulations to @sabrina_j and @h_grasu!!! Such a beautiful couple. Wishing you both the very best, always!!! Xo”

The two got engaged in January 2023, and Ionescu announced their engagement on social media.

Ionescu attended Oregon from 2016-20. Grasu was a member of the Ducks’ football team during the 2013 and 2014 seasons before declaring for the NFL draft.

Ionescu was the No. 1 overall pick by the Liberty in the 2020 WNBA draft. Grasu was a third-round pick (No. 71) by the Chicago Bears in the 2014 NFL draft.
