Tipoff time set for Oregon State-Notre Dame women’s NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 game

Oregon State kicks off four days of women’s NCAA Tournament regional play in Albany, New York, when the Beavers face Notre Dame at 11:30 a.m. Friday at MVP Arena.
Albany and Portland are the host sites for the 2024 NCAA regionals. Oregon State (26-7) and Notre Dame (28-6) play the first of four regional semifinal games in Albany.
OSU-Notre Dame is one of two games in the Albany 1 Regional. It is followed by South Carolina vs. Indiana at 2 p.m. Both games are televised by ESPN.
On Saturday, the Albany 2 Regional features UCLA vs. LSU at 10 a.m., followed by Iowa vs. Colorado at 12:30 p.m.
Friday’s winners play for the Albany 1 Regional championship and a Final Four berth Sunday, while Saturday’s winners face off Monday.
Oregon State is making its fifth Sweet 16 appearance, and first since 2019. Notre Dame, which lost to Maryland in last year’s regional semifinal, has been to the Sweet 16 in 13 of the past 14 tournaments.
This is the first time Oregon State and Notre Dame have played in the NCAA Tournament.
