Although spring has technically sprung, Subaru WinterFest makes its final stop on its cross-country tour in Bend with three days involving free giveaways, concerts and food this weekend.
The festival spans the slopes of Mt. Bachelor to Deschutes Brewery’s production facility on Simpson Avenue with activities for skiers, snowboarders, music fans and dog lovers.
Celebrations commence Friday at the brewery with a retro-themed ski party followed by live music by Takimba and Radical Revolution. Performances continue into Saturday evening with a second show by Takimba and performances by Ruby Waters and Cold War Kids.
On Saturday and Sunday, Mt. Bachelor hosts free demos by Cardiff Snowcraft, Nordica and Dynamic Wax. Attendees are invited to complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and s’mores roasted over a Solo Stove portable firepit.
