Starting Monday, road crews will begin repairing potholes and uneven surfaces at the Phil’s Trailhead parking lot, closing the area to vehicles for several days. Trails will remain open during the maintenance, however.

Traffic will be diverted to an open lot about 300 yards southwest of the current parking lot. Ben’s, Kent’s, and Phil’s trails will remain open and can be accessed via Marvin’s Garden.

Parking will not be allowed on Forest Road 4604 above the green gate to allow material hauling and equipment to pass. Maintenance operations are planned to last a week but could be extended if weather or conditions change.
