The city of Bend is inviting cyclists of all ages to its family-friendly Bike Night on Monday, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Grove in NorthWest Crossing.

The event will be a block party with interactive bike training, raffles and booths from community partners. There will also be a bike safety cone course for kids and, every 30 minutes, an interactive demonstration on how to safely ride roundabouts.

Scheduled to attend are Bend Mayor Melanie Kebler, Mayor Pro-Tem Megan Perkins and state Rep. Emerson Levy, D-Bend.

To attend the event, residents can arrive directly at 921 NW Mt. Washington Drive or join one of two bike bus routes through northeast and southeast Bend. To join, register for the group ride on the city of Bend’s website and converge with the caravan at one of the stops along the route.

Anyone who arrives on a bike will be entered into a raffle and receive discounts with food vendors at the event.
