Central Oregon Community College will host a health careers expo for high school students interested in the field from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 17 on the Bend campus.

COCC faculty, students and staff will lead a series of short classes and will be on hand to answer questions about different programs. The event is open to students interested in becoming dental, medical and nursing assistants, health information managers, massage therapists, nurses, emergency medical technicians, pharmacy technicians and veterinary technicians.

A free lunch will be provided by COCC’s Office of High School Partnerships. Registration closes Friday, May 10.
